The New York Daily News called for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to end his campaign after comments he made Tuesday that some interpreted as a violent threat against Democratic rival Hillary Clinton. As she faces new fallout over her e-mails.
Trump made the comment at a rally today in North Carolina.
Mr Trump then noted the power Mrs Clinton would have to nominate justices to America’s top court.
Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook called Trump’s comments “dangerous”.
