Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is hoping to resurrect his career as a professional baseball player.

All 30 Major League Baseball teams will be invited to Tebow’s workout at the end of the month, an event he has been preparing for over the past year. To combat that lack of experience, Tebow reportedly has been training in Los Angeles and Arizona for the better part of a year.
Tebow, who turns 29 Sunday, hasn’t played baseball since 2005, when he was an all-state player his junior season at Nease High School in Florida. “Knowing Tim’s passion and desire, we won’t be surprised by anything he accomplishes”, Sexton continued.
Tebow was drafted with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2010 National Football League draft by the Broncos.
“Everybody should know this: He wasn’t just a great football player, he was a great baseball player, too”, Mullins told The Sporting News in 2013.
Tebow would have to play in the outfield as he is left-handed, meaning it would be almost impossible for him to catch or play third base, shortstop, or left field.
As it relates to Tebow’s baseball aspirations, they seem to be real. His physicality is unique in professional baseball.
CAA Sports represents some of the top players in the Major Leagues, including the San Francisco Giants’ Buster Posey, the St. Louis Cardinals’ Michael Wacha, the Baltimore Orioles Adam Jones, and the Philadelphia Phillies’ Ryan Howard.
He also had brief stints with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and his final team, the Philadelphia Eagles previous year.
“We’re looking for an athletic outfielder who can bring some leadership and competitiveness into the clubhouse”, Boomers manager Jamie Bennett said in a statement.

As it turns out, Tebow has been working out for nearly a year in Arizona and California, and is planning on putting on a showcase for all 30 Major League Baseball teams (all invited, not quite sure who will come) later this month, planning on showcasing himself as an outfielder.
