Following their cover reveal, Entertainment Weekly has revealed a ton of new Star Wars: The Force Awakens photos, including new images of characters and behind-the-scenes shots from the set.
John Boyega takes on the role of Finn in “The Force Awakens, ‘ which makes him one of many new actors joining the cast of the upcoming ‘Star Wars” film. Abrams’ mysterious new Star Wars adventure, including Daisy Ridley’s Rey freeing BB-8 from the net of a mysterious scavenger, who seems to be riding some kind of cross between a droid and an alien.
The photos include shots of several characters, the best of which may be Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren showing off his Sith Lightsaber.
While the photos mostly show nothing new, there is a curious image of C-3PO with an unexplained red arm. There’s also our first good look at Domhnall Gleeson’s General Hux, leader of The First Order. “Hot Tub Time Machine 2 had already come out, so I assumed it had to be Star Wars“. For example, we definitely have a LOT more to find out about the villainous Kylo Ren (who is described as “Darth Vader obsessed”), as “his true identity has been masked from us in more ways than one”. They’ve lived the same 30 years I have.
“Oh my God, I just got the chills”, Abrams remembers.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, co-writer/director J.J. Abrams confirmed that there will be no new trailer at D23. “Age does not necessarily bring wisdom; it just brings experience”. So without further ado, here’s a further taster as to what’s in store from Episode VII…
