Teams from all over the world will battle the United States in the men’s synchronized 3 meter springboard diving finals at the 2016 Rio Olympics on August 10 at 3pm EST.

The British team of Jack Laugher and Chris Mears won gold, outscoring the Americans by 4.11 points, while the Chinese team of Qin Kai and Cao Yuan won bronze with a total score of 443.70.
There are no preliminary or semifinal rounds in synchronized diving events, which means they went right to the finals. Hixon and Dorman delivered the highest-scoring dive of the day on their sixth and final attempt – with the judges giving them 98.04 points toward their total score of 450.21.
