Cousins, Bledsoe combine for 176 points in charity game
Oh yeah, Bledsoe wasn’t too shabby himself, dropping a ho-hum 85.

If you let the Twitterverse tell it, Cousins and Bledsoe combined for 176 points in an exhibition event that pitted Cousins against Bledsoe in a rematch of their Alabama 5A State Championship semifinal game. He was down in Alabama for the game with Eric Bledsoe and K.J. McDaniels.
That 91 points is more than double Boogie’s National Basketball Association career scoring night of 41 (which ended up as his second-best National Basketball Association game, according to my list), but hopefully this season Cousins’ smashes that 41 mark and reaches the 50s or 60s a few times.

Bledsoe was in his hometown of Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday for a back to school rally, AL.com reported. Bledsoe’s Parker High School beat Cousins’ LeFlore squad, 53-39. He helped distribute book bags and school supplies to the first 300 children in line. Of course, those teams, the Knicks in particular, were bad last season, whereas Cousins, in particular, and Bledsoe are very good players. “I never had anybody do anything like this for me when I was growing up but I’m from here and I want to make a difference in the community”.
