According to a report from Nikkei, a Japanese news outlet, Apple Inc.

And when will it be released?

Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone 7 at a dedicated launch event next month, possibly alongside the Apple Watch 2. 9to5Mac reported on the home button design earlier.

What other upgrades will the new iPhone feature?

The report claims that the new glass body will be developed in time for the 2017 launch of the iPhone 8.

“Apple is obviously being driven now not by even iPhone, although the iPhone 7 matters, but whether there’s a delta, a big delta.in service revenues”, said Cramer, the portfolio manager for the Action Alerts PLUS Charitable Trust Portfolio, which owns Apple.

Some internet leaks have speculated on September 16 2016 – although no solid evidence exists. There is still more than a year to go for the launch of this device, but the expectations are sure to build up with such rumors.

It’s pretty much anyone’s guess at the moment, hence, we’re calling the 2017 model the iPhone 8 at the moment but it’s perfectly plausible that the new phone won’t conform to the traditional naming system at all.

This time, a part for the iPhone 7’s processor (expected to be called the A10 chip) has been posted to Weibo by GeekBar (via MacRumors).

Apple is also expected to remove the headphone jack and push wireless Bluetooth headphones and headphones that connect to the Lightning charging port instead.

And it comes in metallic blue.

This is actually a good idea since having more models could complicate the buying process.

Unlike the old home buttons, iPhone 7’s new button, which will employ haptic feedback technology, responds to pressure with a vibration that simulates the sensation of a true physical click. We expect this will continue into an updated version of iOS.

Such system is similar to the Huawei P9, which uses a dual-camera system to shoot one color, and one monochrome image, which are then merged into one single image.

We’ve already revealed that Apple will be revealing a new iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro – which will feature a dual camera. The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus/Pro will have visible rear antenna bands, but they have been placed at the top and bottom of the handsets, leaving its back free of vertical lines.
