Despite the fact that “Rick and Morty” still has to see a release date for its third season, the rumor mill has been busy churning up new reports about what to expect in the next batch of wild, brassy and highly improvisational episodes.

The mini-episode was recorded few weeks back at San Diego Comic-Con convention and features Dan Harmon, co-creator (and voice of both Rick and Morty) Justin Roiland, Spencer Grammer who voices “Summer” in addition to writer and producer Ryan Ridley. Mr. Meeseeks, a little blue creature who first made his appearance during the first season, is rumored to turn up in the next episodes.

Rick and Morty season three is now rushing to debut before the end of the year.

“I just want to meet Vin Diesel”, Harmon revealed. “He’s a big D&D fan, and I think he’d be great for the show”. “I guess that’s some kind of guy tht says, “I’m Mr. Meeseeks” and does his thing”. Speculation regarding Diesel’s involvement however, has yet to be confirmed by Harmon, Roiland, and Diesel himself.

Rick and Morty fans, we know you have been fanging to find out when Season 3 of your fave show returns, and it seems like it has been slated for later this year. So, fans should wait until everything is already finalized. Hence, it could be impossible that the upcoming installment will be out within this year.

It might be summer in the U.S. and most of the your favourite TV shows might be on hiatus for the warmer months, but that’s certainly not stopping the ‘Rick & Morty’ gang from being hella productive.
