Other people also extending their contracts at Leicester include Kasper Schmeichel, Wes Morgan and Jamie Vardy.
A busy off-season, with two of the biggest global tournaments, followed by the phantasmagoria of the transfer market, has meant that we are back to where we started a year ago: bookmakers still believe Leicester City are more likely to get relegated (14-1 odds) than to win the league title once again (33-1).

Claudio Ranieri has reiterated his mantra that securing 40 points first and foremost is Leicester’s aim once again this season.
Eight teams start the season with new managers – none more high-profile than Guardiola, who makes his debut in the English game as a player or coach. A key to the Foxes’ late title push was the lack of fixture congestion title rivals Tottenham faced courtesy of the Europa League.
Maybe we were naive before, believing that playing in the Champions League was really what mattered.
