The footage has been posted on gossip website Radar Online, with an alleged eyewitness confirming the president’s eldest daughter was smoking weed.

However, photos at July’s Lollapalooza in Chicago which she attended showed the 18-year old smoking.
The law is also on Malia’s side because IL, where Lollapalooza is held, recently decriminalised cannabis.
The video was provided to Radar Online by 18-year-old Jerrdin Selwyn (those aren’t typos, that’s her name) who, according to Complex, told Radar, “I caught Malia smoking pot and I have the pictures to prove it”.
If you recall, Malia Obama took some heat in the media for skipping out on the Democratic National Convention in order to attend the annual musical extravaganza in the Windy City.
“I walked past them on my way out and I heard Malia ask him, “Do you want to go smoke?'”
The footage was captured at the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago last month and it is unclear from the images whether what she can be seen puffing on is a regular cigarette or one rolled with marijuana.
Moreover, the New York Post points out that marijuana was recently decriminalised in IL after state Governor Bruce Rauner signed a bill into law this August.

The teen also insisted that the young woman held the cigarette for about a minute before handing it back to boy.
