Jessica Alba introduces victims of gun violence at award show

Jessica Alba was fighting back tears as she introduced each teenager on the stage that have all lost family members to gun violence in the recent months. Ne-Yo sang “What’s Going On” and together they encouraged everyone to use the hashtag #StopTheViolence.

Ne-Yo finished off the emotional moment with a rendition of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On”.

Later in the show, Justin Timberlake was awarded a surfboard to mark his contributions to music and film throughout his career.

After all the votes were in, the results were announced at the end of the award show.
