Hours before a South Florida Donald Trump rally, supporters of the Republican presidential nominee were told what they can and cannot bring inside the BB&T Center in Sunrise.

Her vice presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, expressed his shock in a radio interview. “He doesn’t understand the basic requirements of being President of the United States and frankly, he’s risky”. “We need an outsider to come and we need to clean house”. Trump’s team, too, was using the controversy to reinforce a theme it’s been pitching to voters: that an underdog Trump is being unfairly treated by the media.

Last month, Trump’s “favourite” veteran and long time informal advisor, New Hampshire state representative Al Baldasaro said that Clinton, “should be put in the firing line and shot for treason”. “You never joke about something like that”. The agency has also tweeted about the remarks.

With the $3 million ad buy, the NRA’s total spending in favor of Trump this election is now approximately $6 million, Politico reported. “I hope he clears it up very quickly”, Ryan said.

Rather calls Trump’s remarks “a new low and unprecedented in the history of American presidential politics”.

The anti-Trump folks said his comment was a call to violence against Clinton, tapping that unfortunate stereotype that every pro-gun person secretly wants to shoot those with whom they disagree.

The comment was taken by many people as implying that one way to stop Hillary would be to assassinate her.

Upon accepting the support a convention in May, Trump promised the group: “I will not let you down”.

It is a simple point that destroys the entire basis for Donald Trump’s campaign. Trump has complained previously that two debates are scheduled during NFL football games. “I mean, give me a break”. But, he added, “I have to see the conditions”.

Nearly immediately after Trump spoke, the pro-Clinton superPAC Priorities USA Action emailed out a clip of Trump’s comments with the subject heading, “Donald Trump Just Suggested That Someone Shoot Hillary Clinton”, plus a one-sentence message: “THIS IS NOT OK”.
