Armenian Olympian Andranik Karapetyan suffered a horror ELBOW dislocation during the 77kg weightlifting event at the Rio Olympics.

Karapetyan was attempting to lift 430 pounds, according to Deadspin. He looked poised to succeed, when, nearly immediately after lifting the weights, the olympian’s elbow popped out under the huge pressure.

Karapetyan was competing in the 77kg competition, in which he won bronze at the 2015 World Championships and gold at the 2016 European Championships.

He dropped the weight behind his head as medical teams quickly rushed to his aid on stage, where he was clutching his arm.

Karapetyan’s coach, who didn’t even want to see the severely dislocated elbow, watched on cautiously as the weightlifter was helped off the platform.
