Clinton also fired back at her Republican opponent, Donald Trump, who made comments Tuesday that many say was inciting violence against her.

On Tuesday, Trump began at the North Carolina rally by saying, falsely, that his Democratic competitor wanted to “essentially abolish the Second Amendment”.
“Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is I don’t know”, he added.
As he tried to end the fall out from the gaffe Mr Trump said he had been referring to the political voting power of gun owners, not inciting violence.
Trump replied to the CNN story by denying on Twitter that such a meeting ever took place.
Fresh from his primary win in Wisconsin, Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan said Trump’s comments appeared to be a bad joke. “If you are running to be president, words can have tremendous consequences”, Clinton said at a rally in Des Moines.
Clinton said she’s been “humbled and moved” by Republicans who have spoken out against Trump – “not only as Republicans, but as Americams” – as “USA” and “Stronger Together” signs bobbed in the air across the Lincoln High School gymnasium.
Clinton’s rebuttal was devastating because it was backed by more than a year of examples of Trump’s own behavior.
Mr. Trump’s comments yesterday about 2nd Amendment supporters uniting at the ballot box to protect their Constitutional rights have been completely misconstrued by the Clinton spin machine and their lackeys in the media.
“Words matter, my friends”, Clinton told the crowd. It criticizes Clinton for supporting gun control while making use of armed security, and characterizes her as “one of the wealthiest women in politics”.
As Trump struggled to turn the page on a hard period in his campaign, Clinton’s campaign continued a push to win over Republicans and independents Wednesday, launching a group called “Together for America”.
The letter said: “From a foreign-policy perspective, Donald Trump is not qualified to be president and commander-in-chief. That will be a frightful day”.
GOP Congressmen Mike Coffman, Scott Tipton, and Ken Buck did not respond to 9NEWS after numerous requests for comment.

In his Fayetteville remarks, Trump praised the military and criticized the management of the Department of Veterans Affairs, though he didn’t specifically mention Fort Bragg.
