Fox News Presidential Debate Sets Ratings Record

High media blitz surrounding the controversial Donald Trump helped rocket the first Republican presidential debate into cable network program history.

Bush, among the rivals scrambling for notice in a campaign dominated at the moment by Donald Trump, said, “I don’t view debating as a question of winning and losing”.

To kick things off, Kelly challenged Trump on his past offensive comments toward women.

“She is totally overrated and angry”, Trump wrote.

The exchange set the tone for the night for Trump, and he never really seemed to recover.

“I’ve evolved on many issues over the years, and you know who else has?”

Despite the Trump show, candidates undercard sought to make an impression on voters – and many aimed at Obama, Clinton and Trump.

It was Mr Trump’s comments later in the interview that drew the most scrutiny, however, when he suggested that menstruation was to blame for moderator Megyn Kelly’s “unfair” questions.

According to Nielsen, about 24 million people watched the Fox News event – which was the first debate among the Republican frontrunners.

“Let me just tell you about the lenders”, responded Trump.

“I’ll take that as a badge of honor”, he said.

Former Ohio Governor John Kasich gave a handsome answer to the question over whether he’d support gay marriage.

Dr. Ben Carson elevated the IQ on the debate stage, and although he only had a small amount of time, the retired neurosurgeon certainly made a good impression with his final closing statements.

Bush will be there Saturday – along with Texas Sen.

“He did okay. He didn’t do great”, said Ramsey.

He sparked a firestorm and offended many Hispanic voters when he said Mexico was not “sending its best” and said the immigrants were bringing drugs and crime to the US.

Meanwhile Carly Fiorina may have earned her way to adult table in the next contest.

But TheRepublican.com blogger Craig Robinson said it depended on the candidate. She was on point. Rand Paul, R-Kentucky called Trump out for his giving campaign contributions to Hillary Clinton.

Gov. Jeb Bush once referred to Trump’s remarks about the Mexican government and illegal immigration as “extraordinarily ugly”. “They don’t want to take care of them”. “You know why? She didn’t have a choice because I gave [to her foundation]”. The other problem is that candidates often paint themselves further into a corner when they try to compensate for blunders.

“For all of the people who were looking forward to Mr. Trump coming, we will miss you”.
