The ISPR said the commanders had been directed “to provide all necessary assistance to provincial LEAs in their capacity building through training, resourcing and planning so as to integrate them effectively in counterterrorism operations”.
It is the second meeting chaired by the Prime Minister in two days to review security situation of the country and National Action Plan.

Regarding the military operation against militants and National Action Plan (NAP) to counter terrorism, the PM said “Operation Zarb-e-Azb” and NAP were launched with the consensus of the political and military leadership, and will be completed at all costs.
