Paris debut for Suzuki’s Ignis crossover
SUZUKI HAS RELEASED four images showing the new 2017 Suzuki Ignis, “a compact crossover with stylishness and utility” and the refreshed SX-4 S-Cross SUV ahead of their global reveals at the Paris Motor Show next month.

The cheeky and distinctive-looking Ignis was first revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show past year and Suzuki South Africa says it’s now under consideration for our market, and if it gets the green light you can look forward to it hitting local streets in 2017.
First seen at the Tokyo show in October 2015 and taking the name of a hatchback last produced in 2008, the new Ignis is a small crossover and could tempt buyers away from the likes of Fiat’s Panda.
The other main exhibits that will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show from Suzuki’s stables will be the facelifted S-Cross, Vitara, and the Baleno.
Also on display as a main exhibit is the SX4 S-Cross face-lift, with revamped front exterior design and further refined interior quality. The 1.6 DDiS engine continues to be available and the new S-Cross model range will be launched in the United Kingdom in mid-October.

The facelifted model will replace the current 1.6-litre petrol engine with 1.0-litre and 1.4-litre versions of Suzuki’s new Boosterjet direct-injection turbo units.
