As it stands, Rime is targeting a 2017 launch.

Grey Box and parent company Six Foot previously published the RTS Grey Goo and are involved in publishing Yager’s outer-space capital ship game Dreadnaught. Now Six Foot’s Grey Box label has been named as the publisher.
It looks like a PS4 version of Rime is still happening though, with Tequila Works saying last month that “it is still coming out for PS4”, but they wouldn’t say if it was still exclusive to PS4 or not. The game was going to be published by Sony, but back in March the studio chose to reacquire the rights to the game.
From its very first moving reveal, RiME has been a game that has excited and fascinated our team.
There is no firm date yet, but Rime is now due for release some time in 2017.
It’s not impossible the game still ends up only releasing on PS4, but the language in this announcement suggests it will end up on more platforms.
Details about Rime are slim at the moment, with more planned to be revealed in early 2017 with a release slated for later that year.
The game follows a boy who was shipwrecked on an island after a storm destroyed his transportation back home.

“We’ve always wanted Rime to captivate players’ imaginations, capturing that feeling of being a child and experiencing the wonders of a bedtime story for the first time”, said creative director Raul Rubio Munarriz. A gorgeous puzzle game with hints of Ico all over, the game in development over at Tequila Works went dormant for years.
