S. Arabia moves to help stranded Indian workers
There are roughly 3 million Indians employed in Saudi Arabia, which depends on foreign workers to fill jobs in its services, manufacturing and construction sectors.

Workers at one of the camps told CNNMoney that their bosses at Oger stopped showing up to work about seven months ago, and they had heard nothing from the company since. “We will help them out in all possible ways”, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said in a statement.
Oger representatives were not available for comment.
He directed the overseas ministry to keep in touch with the Pakistani mission in Saudi Arabia till the issue is resolved.
According to a spokesman for Prime Minister’s House, a special centre would provide aid, food, medicine and shelter to the stranded Pakistanis.
There is a strong possibility that the Saudi company would be closed, said the embassy official.

“They have also agreed to allow transfer (of employees) to any other company within Saudi Arabia”.
