Swansea sign Borja Baston
Swansea City have completed the signing of Borja Baston, in a club record deal.

Baston has signed a four-year deal at the Liberty Stadium and will wear the No. 10 shirt for the Swans.
Borja came through the ranks at the Vicente Calderon but has blossomed out on loan in recent seasons – notably last term, when he scored 18 La Liga goals for Eibar.
Borja arrives at the Liberty Stadium just five days after Spanish World Cup-winner Fernando Llorente joined the Swans from Sevilla. After signing a 2-year deal, the 31 year-old World Cup victor started in Saturday’s 1-0 home friendly win against Stade Rennais.
He eclipses Wilfried Bony as Swansea’s record signing. The fee paid for Llorente is not known, but it’s believed that the Ayew fee will more-or-less cover the combined fees paid for Llorente and Borja. He said: ‘He [Borja] is a good player, he will be important for Swansea.
Swansea start the new Premier League season away to newly promoted Burnley on Saturday, before locking horns with Hull City in their first home game of the campaign on 20 August. The Italian boss only had Ayew and youngster McBurnie to choose from during the pre-season friendlies, but he now has the luxury of picking between two excellent forwards, with different styles and strengths. It’s hard to set a target of goals, but my mantra is take it goal by goal.
“I would love to play this Saturday, but I will have to speak to the manager (Francesco Guidolin) to see if he wants me to be involved”.

Swansea sold Andre Ayew and Ashley Williams to West Ham and Everton respectively this week for transfer fees totalling over £32million.
