Black Lives Matter Activists Vow to Take Up Trump Mic Challenge
“A month ago, I switched to democrat so I could vote for Bernie Sanders, because I believe in the Constitution and protecting it”. Sanders was highly retweeted during the Fox News GOP debate, but he ran into an obstacle with Black Lives Matter activists taking his mic at a Saturday Social Security rally. But he still trails former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by a wide margin in Iowa, according to opinion polls.

Sanders, now serving as senator from the state of Vermont, spoke to the roaring crowd as part of an unpredictably hot campaign that continues to heat up. Doing so would better serve the activists’ cause since they won’t need to fight so hard to be heard by the people they’re protesting. “As was said at the Netroots action, presidential candidates should expect to be shut down and confronted every step along the way of this presidential campaign”, their statement reads. “I look forward to meeting with the students and faculty of Liberty University”. He said, “Sen. Sanders has been portrayed initially as not in the main stream of presidential candidates”. As the crowd grew more agitated, Johnson added that Sanders says he cares about grassroots movements, but, “The biggest grassroots movement in this country right now is Black Lives Matter“.
“Bernie Sanders’ growing support has a lot more to do with Bernie Sanders than it does with Hillary Clinton”, said Dean Debnam, President of Public Policy Polling.
Fresh off of Sunday night’s Portland rally that drew an astonishing 28,000 people, Sanders came to Oakland to meet people, answer questions and collect a valuable endorsement where his name was drowned out by cheers. Clinton, of course, has billionaire donors and Super PACs to fund her campaign, something that Sanders did not let slide.
“We don’t take money from billionaires”, Sanders said.
Sanders’ response received generous applause in Oakland.

Some people reacted to Trump’s comments on Twitter and encouraged the Black Lives Matter group to attend one of his rallies. “We assumed that Hillary Clinton being a woman would have great significance in terms of how the nurses viewed the candidates”, she said according to Politico. B himself admitted his past failings: “I tend to turn the cheek on black violence because it’s been normalized to me, and I feel frightful about that”.
