Stephen Colbert is going live again.

Stephen Colbert finally found his groove as host of CBS’s Late Show with his run of live episodes airing after the Democratic and Republican conventions.

Late-night TV hosts have been ripping apart both presidential candidates in Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump lately, with the vast majority of jokes directed towards the latter. “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” will air live on CBS after the scheduled September 26 and October 19 debates between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and following the Tim Kaine-Mike Pence debate October 4, the network said Wednesday, Aug. 10. With Colbert settling into his new gig a bit more the show was bound to veer away from The Late Show with David Letterman that once occupied the same space, but times, they are a’changing.

On Wednesday, CBS entertainment chief Glenn Geller announced that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert would be airing live episodes immediately following the presidential debates.

Like his convention coverage, Colbert will host his post-debate shows from his desk in NY with a to-be-determined list of celebrity guests.
