40 missing in China after a landslide
Dozens of people are missing after a landslide came crashing down on the living quarters of mining workers in northwest China early Wednesday, state media reported.

It says 14 people have been rescued, and that further efforts are continuing.
The landslide appears to have been caused by the after effect of Typhoon Soudelor, which hit southern China over the weekend.
