He was removed from Trump Tower on a stretcher.

Finally, police pulled out an entire window at the 21st floor, creating a single-pane bottleneck for Rogata.

The man arrived in New York Wednesday from Virginia and had been staying in a local hotel, police said.

Stephen Rogata, 19, from Great Falls, Virginia, has been charged with reckless endangerment and criminal trespassing after his Wednesday afternoon adventure up the side of the tower at 725 Fifth Ave., police stated.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Rogata has an attorney.

Officer Christopher Williams, who grabbed Rogata, told reporters: “I reached out”.

He told the NYPD he was climbing the building owned by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to get an audience with him. “I took hold of his hand and I said, ‘Sir, would you come with me'”.

Well, instead of this being a insane stunt to convince the hundreds of thousands of people watching on Facebook Live and tweeting along with the events to NOT vote for Trump in the 2016 Elections, Steve from Virginia was actively telling people to go out and vote for Donald. The video was intended to make clear the climber’s goal, so the NYPD would know that he meant no harm. A law enforcement source said he dropped a flier while he was climbing, and it referenced his YouTube video, which was posted under the name Leven Thumps, a character in a series of children’s fantasy novels by the writer Obert Skye.

With nearly a million views at the time of writing, Steve asks for a “private audience with [Donald Trump] to discuss an important matter”. “Believe me, if my goal was not significant, I would not risk my life pursuing it”. “At no time did he express that he wanted to hurt anybody”, NYPD Assistant Chief William Aubry said. Which, we suppose, isn’t totally insane – but we still don’t know why he did climb the Tower?! “If I had sought this via conventional means, I would be much less likely to have success because you are a busy man with many responsibilities”.

Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization, called it “a ridiculous and unsafe stunt”. Trump also lives there, although he was away Wednesday. “I’m 100 percent certain the NYPD had better things to do”.
