Clinton acknowledges misspeaking about Federal Bureau of Investigation director’s testimony
It was all personal stuff and we’ve said that consistently, and as the Federal Bureau of Investigation said, everything that I’ve said publicly has been consistent and truthful with what I told them. President Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton, former President George W. Bush, Bob Dole and former Vice President Al Gore have all addressed past conventions.

Not even close. Mrs. Clinton denied sending or receiving classified email, but Mr. Comey told Congress: “There was classified material emailed”.
Clinton, again, got herself ensnared by her emails when she told “Fox News Sunday’s” Chris Wallace last week that her ‘answers were truthful, ‘ adding ‘what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people’.
Clinton also criticised Trump on Friday as someone who would be a risky president and stressed that if elected, she would work on issues related to systemic racism and economic struggles that often hit black and Hispanic communities the hardest.
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said all work-related e-mails were returned to the State Department.
A campaign aide later told The Washington Post that Clinton only used one email account as secretary of state and misspoke when she mentioned two accounts.
“I have very grave doubts about whether the legal authorities now in place allow us to wage an offensive war against ISIL”, Kaine said.
Kaine was further asked if he and Clinton would be more transparent in the White House.
Clinton attributed the confusion to miscommunication, explaining that she had meant to say that her statements in public were no different than those she had made to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
WALLACE: She said that isn’t what she told the American people.
“And in questioning Director Comey made the point that the 3 e-mails out of the 30,000 did not have the appropriate markings and it was, therefore, reasonable to conclude that anyone, including myself, would have not suspected that they were classified”, she said.
After being hammered by fact-checkers for that statement, including a “Pants On Fire” rating from PolitiFact, Clinton said she may have “short-circuited” with her remark and claimed she and Wallace talked “past each other”.
This is a better performance for Hilary Clinton who had lower trustworthiness numbers earlier this year.
Mr. Giuliani called Mrs. Clinton’s claim of short-circuiting a “euphemism for lying”.
“The bottom line is this”.

On Aug. 23, she is scheduled for a lunchtime event at the home of Leonardo DiCaprio, with a list of co-hosts including Tobey and Jennifer Maguire, Jennifer Aniston, Scooter and Yael Braun, Shonda Rhimes, Chris Silbermann and Rick and Christina Yorn. She made a mistake and she said over and over again, “I made a mistake, and I’ve learned from it, and I’m going to fix it, and I apologize for it”. And she said Comey’s own statements during the July hearing showed “there was absolutely no intention on my part to either ignore or in any way dismiss the importance of those documents”.
