The Colts already may have provoked the ire of Tom Brady by reportedly acting on the Ravens’ tip and reporting the Patriots for playing with underinflated footballs during the AFC Championship Game.

The Sun King Brewing Co.in Indianapolis is taking shots at Tom Brady and the Patriots by writing “Tom Brady sux” on the bottom of beer cans, along with the expiration date.

The brewery, however, is shifting blame to an employee of the brewery who works on the canning line.

“It wasn’t an idea we came up with at all”, said co-owner Clay Robinson told the Indianapolis Star.

The 20,000-or-so Wee Mac cans that were running down the line on May 13, 2015, just days after the original four-game suspension was handed out to Brady, were given the message by an unnamed employee.

“I actually thought it was amusing”, Robinson said.

Sun King says while they appreciate the exposure the message has given their product, they’ve instituted a new policy that says messages on the bottom of cans must be submitted for approval.

Zak Keefer, who covers the Indianapolis Colts for the Indianapolis Star, tweeted out a picture of one of the cans on Monday.
