Liverpool to sign former Barcelona defender Juanma after successful trial
While the aforementioned players are all established names, manager Jurgen Klopp is a manager who is always on the lookout to sign promising youngsters as well and it can now be revealed that the German boss is set to make a swoop for 19-year-old Juanma.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool are set to hand a permanent deal to trialist Juanma Garcia, who is formerly of Barcelona.
Liverpool fans may be somewhat disappointed with the signing as the club have been searching for a new senior left-back to join the squad.
Alberto Moreno has yet to prove himself as a consistent defender since signing from Sevilla back in 2014, whilst Jose Enrique has left the club and James Milner – who has been filling in at left back in pre-season – is injured, meaning a new left back should be targeted before the transfer deadline.
“My time at Barcelona has ended”. Thank you for these 8 seasons!
The former Barcelona defender is set to be offered a contract at Anfield and is scheduled to undergo a medical. He is not considered a first-team option at this stage, though Liverpool have seen off competition from Villarreal to secure his signature.
The defender can play as either a centre-back or a left-back.
He’s very versatile and can play in different positions.

A teammate of fellow Reds youngsters Pedro Chirivella and Madger Gomes in the Spanish youth sides, he worked his way towards the Barcelona A team – where he made 17 appearances in the UEFA Youth League, including six as captain. “I quite like him, he reminds he a little bit of someone like a Pablo Zabaleta-type player, a nice player”, the Reds’ U23 coach added.
