Headaches jeopardizing Ladarius Green’s Steelers tenure, reports say
Green has not practiced, in the spring or this summer, with his new team.

“…a member of the organization, informed of the player’s health, said it has nothing to do with the tight end’s surgically-repaired ankle – but is instead an issue with recurring headaches.”
Ladarius Green’s ankle isn’t keeping him out of Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice, according to an NFL.com report. The same source also tells PFT the Steelers might cut Green if they’re able to recover his signing bonus. Green signed a four-year, $20 million and hasn’t been on the field once in training camp. According to Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune, he called them “little” and said “it’s getting better every day”. He missed a game in 2014 for the San Diego Chargers and another in 2015 due to concussions.

Concussion symptoms can be unpredictable, if that’s what Green is dealing with. Green sat out one game last season with a concussion before ankle issues sidelined him for two more. Tomlin was asked on Wednesday whether or not Green was close to coming of the team’s Active PUP list and the head coach replied, “He’s still on PUP”. The young tight end is also scheduled to earn $5 million in 2017, should he still be on the roster.
