Before ascending the famed Fifth Ave. skyscraper Wednesday, Ryan changed his name to Stephen Rogata and had identification made in the new name, police said.

It was unclear when Rogata would appear in court or if he had an attorney who could comment for him. There was no immediate response to a message left Thursday at his family’s home in Virginia.
The US teenager who used suction cups to scale Trump Tower, the NY home and headquarters of the Republican nominee for US president, has been charged, police said Thursday. He was being evaluated at a hospital.

The actor assured anxious fans that he was in fact not the person climbing the Trump Tower on Wednesday evening (Aug. 10, 2016) in New York City. During his climb, he held up a notebook to the building’s occupants claiming he was a Trump supporter looking to meet the candidate.
Police officers smashed a window and ventilation duct in an attempt to block the man’s path. “They were the best parents that I ever seen”, AJ Steger said.
Steve has officially been climbing for two hours. The reason I climbed your tower is to get your attention. “At no time did he express that he wanted to hurt anybody”, NYPD Assistant Chief William Aubry said.
“This man performed a ridiculous and unsafe stunt”, Michael Cohen, an executive at the Trump Organization, said in an emailed statement.

Later Wednesday evening, Trump tweeted: “Great job today by the NYPD in protecting the people and saving the climber”.
