And that’s not all the excitement in store of DC’s CW-verse next year.

The two series which air on The CW will be staging a musical crossover episode, according to Entertainment Weekly.
He added that they’ll mostly be singing existing songs, but the writers have been kicking around trying to write “at least” one original tune for each episode.
It comes as no surprise given that the casts of both The Flash and Supergirl are filled with Broadway alums.
Exactly how the music will be explained wasn’t revealed but Berlanti said “we’ll be very careful about how we break into song” and said some of it could be “in the characters’ heads”. The very well-received guest spot allowed Warner Bros. the see how well the show could do in the context of the CW superheroes, and made a decision to renew the series for a second season on their network. At today’s CW presentation at the TCA summer press tour, Greg Berlanti reportedly confirmed a two-part The Flash/Supergirl musical episode that will drop in the second half of the superhero shows’ seasons. How do you think the musical episode will play out?
Season 5 flashbacks will take place in Russian Federation.
This crossover is not the same as the four-way crossover between “The Flash”, “Arrow”, “Supergirl” and “Legends of Tomorrow” that’s slated for December.
Episode 507 of the series will introduce Vigilante.
But an executive working with CBS claimed that the network took the decision of not giving the nod for the airing of Supergirl Season 2 for quality reasons and not just for content.
The big November crossover will start with The Flash and move across all four shows, with effects from “Flashpoint” spilling across the DC TV universe.
Legends of Tomorrow Lance Henriksen will appear as Obsidian.

Berlanti said it wasn’t “a done deal” but he hopes some will feature.
