Father of Orlando shooter sighted at Clinton event

Hillary Clinton’s campaign responded late Tuesday to criticism that she did not reject the support of Seddique Mateen – the father of Orlando shooter Omar Mateen – who made headlines earlier this week when he was seen sitting in the crowd at a Clinton rally in Kissimmee, Florida. One is that Clinton’s campaign staffers were, to coin a phrase, “extremely careless” in whom they let on the risers behind her while she spoke. Television coverage shows Mateen standing behind Clinton during her speech.

In an interview after the rally, Mateen told reporters that “Hillary Clinton is good for United States”.

Seddique’s presence at the rally was controversial because he claims he was “invited” to the event, even though neither he nor the Clinton campaign deigned to comment on this alleged invitation. Trump was interrupted by protesters during his rally, and tensions appeared to be running extra high in the crowd. “I know many people. are still grieving”, Mrs Clinton said of the victims’ families.

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has run afoul of the American Muslim community on several occasions since his campaign kicked into high gear during the primaries.

Earlier today I was discussing the Democratic primary history and in the course of that discussion mentioned the campaigns that both my husband and Senator Kennedy waged in California in June 1992 and 1968 and I was referencing those to make the point that we have had nomination primary contests that go into June.

Generally, scammers will use any major public event as a lure to get people to open their mails and click on links, including earthquakes and terrorist attacks.

“I was invited by [the] Democratic party”, Mateen told the reporter. Giuliani asked. “I know what attracts him to her”.

Spammers and cyber attackers are using Trump’s name far more than Hillary Clinton’s in emails pushing get rick quick schemes or phishing for personal information, according to an analysis from Proofpoint.

Omar Mateen was killed in a stand-off with the police. Mateen has also expressed solidarity with the Taliban.

Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in a statement: “Sen”.
