But it appears the studio is putting all their eggs in the basket of the third BAD BOYS movie which has now taken on the aforementioned name in what I’d venture to guess will be the last picture in the franchise. Having a great mix of action, humor and suspense, it delivered on all cylinders and it’s still very popular to this day.

There’s been talk of a third Bad Boys movie for years now, but it was finally made official when original stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence agreed to return and Joe Carnahan (The Grey) signed up to direct. With their chemistry together, they were able to add a comedic aspect to the films that were very unique for the specific genre and it’s actually odd that they haven’t continued this franchise. But sadly, fans will have to wait even longer now before the see Smith and Lawrence together once again. Everyone’s favorite narcotics detectives Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey are indeed eventually coming back, and when they do, the title to their newest adventure will have a familiar ring to it: Bad Boys For Life.
In its new spot, Bad Boys for Life will go up against 20th Century Fox’s Maze Runner: The Death Cure and Paramount animated feature Sherlock Gnomes.
If you thought waiting 13 years for Finding Dory was bad, you’re probably cursing the film’s announced delay.
