Children injured after inflatable slide comes loose from moorings

A group of children were injured when a bouncy castle they were playing on came loose from its moorings. Two have been taken to hospital in Poole with neck pain, with another child treated on the scene. “The air ambulance is attending”.

Emergency services were called to the incident, in Shore Road, at about 1.45pm.

A number of children were injured after a jumping castle blew away. “There is nothing to suggest their injuries are serious”.

Dorset Police were called at 1.46pm today to a bouncy castle coming loose from its position in Shore Road, Swanage.

“The third child was treated on scene”.

One of the children was taken to hospital in Poole as a precaution and three others went to the minor injuries unit at Swanage Hospital for further assessment.

Police said that information will be passed on to the Health and Safety Executive.
