Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has praised Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly for his man-of-the-match performance in their 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Community Shield on Sunday.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists he will only get better for Manchester United this season after scoring the victor in Sunday’s Community Shield.
Ibrahimovic said: “It feels good, first official game, we play for the trophy and we win. I’m super happy. Hopefully I can win much more than this”, Ibrahimovic told BT Sport. We are in pre-season and we played against a big big team. “The only one I can compare it to is Milan”.
“It is a very stupid motivation but, if you look in a different perspective, it is what we have to do”.
Lingard, who scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final at Wembley last season, said: “He’s given us a license to mix positions”.
Some claimed that Mata, who has a storied history with former Chelsea manager Mourinho, reacted angrily to the substitution, but the United boss played down the reports of a rift.
The opportunity to secure their 21st Community Shield was handed to the side by van Gaal, having won the FA Cup last season, and after the game Mourinho dedicated the win to the Dutch coach.
Premier League champion Leicester tended to when Marouane Fellaini’s odious back-pass let Jamie Vardy into round David de Gea and score. “Before the match I asked for 120% and they gave me 120%”.
“I also want to dedicate to the seven players who did not play, It hurts me to leave behind the likes of Depay, Jones, Young”. We worked hard and it’s great to win a trophy.
“I would not be ambitious if I said we had a fantastic performance, because it was not a fantastic performance”.

“I was, and I am, very curious to see Leicester, see what we can do this season”.
