The CEO of a technology firm says a teenage girl found slain in an Atlanta suburb was a representative for its “Smack High” social media app, created to connect teens with similar interests.
Police in suburban Atlanta say they’ve made an arrest in the case of two teens found shot to death Monday behind a grocery store.
Both Natalie and Carter were to begin their senior years of high school, school leaders said.
A neighbor, who asked not to be identified, told The North Fulton Neighbor she was “surprised and shocked” to see police searching a home in her “quiet neighborhood”.
Roswell resident Jeffrey A. Hazelwood has been charged with two counts of murder in connection to Natalie’s as well as Carter Davis’s, deaths.
Police did issue a search warrant “based on information received during the investigation”, said Frommer.
Hazelwood was being held at the Roswell Detention Center pending transfer to the Fulton County Jail.
Roswell Police Detective Zachary Frommer said in a press conference Wednesday: “Early indications are that they were killed there”. It is unclear if he had a criminal record or if he knew the victims, Grant said.
Detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Gilhams Road in Cobb County near Roswell Wednesday morning.
Police have not said how Hazelwood was connected to Henderson and Davis.
According to the city government of Roswell, Hazelwood was arrested after police followed clues and evidences obtained from CCTV footages and witness testimonies in the area.
Both victims were high school students and set to go back to school in the coming days.

Davis’ principal at River Ridge High School also released a statement calling the athlete “an energetic student who was known as a friend to all”.
