What time No Man’s Sky is out on PC

Fortunately, slowing down or doubling back to fly across the previously-discovered terrain quickly fixes the problem. No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival, set in an infinite procedurally generated universe. Other than that, the game runs at 30fps frame rate cap majority of the time especially while on foot.

While popular titles like EA’s Battlefield 4 and Bungie Destiny have been known to deliver good performance on PS4, even they have reported at times to be strangled by the limitations on the console’s hardware; Destiny remains locked at 30 fps and delivers smooth gameplay, except when it occasionally drops to framerate chasms.

Developer Hello Games is reportedly aware of the issue. It seems possible though as the “No Man’s Sky” day one patch released caused a dramatic improvement on numerous game’s core systems.

In terms of post-launch content, Hello Games will be adding the ability to build bases and own giant space freighters in the near future.

The PC version of No Man’s Sky will be available on Friday at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm BST.

Hello everyone. Firstly, THANK YOU for picking up No Man’s Sky! Higher frame rates is expected for the game’s PC version and there will be less severe frame drops for those with powerful gaming rigs.

No Man’s Sky isn’t a staggered release depending on timezones on PC, so you won’t have to wait any longer if your timezone isn’t listed above. Unfortunately, it seems No Man’s Sky is another example of the kind of performance throttling that we’re talking about, at least it seems from the framerate test anyway!
