And so it comes to pass, with Fantastic Beasts 2 (or whatever it ends up being called) already set to release on the 16th of November 2016.

The Fantastic Beasts trilogy focuses on Newt Scamander, a character that was mentioned only in passing within the Harry Potter books with the story set decades before that series.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them releases November 18th!

The Fantastic Beasts sequel will again center on magizoologist Newt Scamander, a young man with a passion for unique and often very risky magical creatures.

Well, at least Warner are releasing the spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in November, and that should also do gangbusters.

“The Cursed Child” was written by Jack Thorne and directed by John Tiffany, in collaboration with Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling.

It will be penned by JK Rowling, who is making her screenwriting debut with the first film, reports the BBC.

“Fantastic Beasts” and Where to Find Them was confirmed to have an unnamed sequel as part of the three-part franchise but the confirmation as to when it will be hitting theaters came just recently. Some fans are upset that the book isn’t so much a book as it is a script based on the play now in production in London.

Harry Potter fans, if you’re looking for more Harry – or at least more stuff related to him – Warner Bros.is coming to help.

She said: “Our sales for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child script book have been phenomenal”.

Tickets for shows from May until December 10 will be available on this exciting day for Potterheads who missed out the first time round. BBC reports that the much-awaited sequel for “Fantastic Beasts” takes viewers from the earthly world and transports them into the partly scary, partly incredible world of wizards and beasts. Director David Yates will return as well. Rowling has been busy educating fans on the world outside of Hogwarts, so this will give her a chance to delve even deeper.

“He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we’re done”. I wouldn’t be surprised if J.K. Rowling wasn’t already working on it right now.
