No Man’s Sky arrives on PC tomorrow; here’s how you get it
He’s a ideal fit, then, for No Man’s Sky – the epic space exploration video game that’s just arrived on PS4.

The game features 18 quintillion planets which are “procedurally generated” by the stupendously complex coding, courtesy of developers Hello Games.
“Bill Bailey’s well known love of space and his eccentric comedic style made him the ideal person to go where no man has been before”. He lands his ship, christens the place “Bill-Topia” and heads off in search of an undiscovered alien species with which he can “possibly share a panini”.
It’s just a shame that the retail version doesn’t actually come bundled with the comic as the trailer suggests. And you get to see some extra games footage that we’ve not spied before.
Unfortunately, it seems No Man’s Sky is another example of the kind of performance throttling that we’re talking about, at least it seems from the framerate test anyway!
The game’s been out on PS4 since 8 August, but only in the USA and UK.

We don’t really know why this PS4 ad works but it does.
