Mike Pence campaigns for fourth time in Wisconsin

Vice presidential candidate Mike Pence made his first stop in Moraine on the campaign trail focusing a majority of his comments on Trump’s plan for the economy.

The leader of Wisconsin Democrats spoke out against Donald Trump and running mate Mike Pence’s economic policies Thursday.

“Donald Trump and I, when elected, will put an end to it once and for all”, Pence said to applause, one of five standing ovations he received during his 35-minute address before taking questions.

Audience member Tim Hammel says he originally supported Governor John Kasich’s presidential run, but will now vote for Trump.

Pence not only brought up the newly released emails, but also the fact that attack in Benghazi, Libya that killed four Americans is nearing the four year anniversary.

“We can’t have four more years of apologizing and abandoning our friends”, Pence said, adding, “We will rebuild our military”.

Speaking on behalf of the campaign, Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley told reporters at a union hall on S. Jefferson that she thinks Candidate Donald Trump thinks democracy is a joke and took Pence to task on his positions against LGBT rights.

The other reference apparently was to Trump’s claim that the National Football League had called him to complain about debate dates, although National Football League officials deny making such a call.
