Durant, Warriors to OKC on Feb. 11, Cleveland on Christmas

James created headlines in 2010 when he announced he would be leaving Cleveland for Miami, before returning to his hometown in 2014. An final stretch like that could go a long way towards securing home court advantage in the postseason.

It would be a great deal for the Kings since they will get rid of Cousins while the Cavaliers would get a great player that fits their team. Centrio Times suggested that despite contributing to Cavs’ title, the team might trade Kevin Love because he is the most “tradeable” star player in the team.

Ever since the offseason began, Love of the Cleveland Cavaliers has been the center of trade speculations.

Fresh off delivering the Cleveland Cavaliers their first-ever National Basketball Association championship, LeBron James finally signed his new contract.

The Knicks are a familiar opening day foe, as they were the opponent for LeBron’s first game back in Cleveland two years ago.

“We all know past year was magical, inspiring, all the words you can come up with”, James said in a video from Uninterupted. “I can’t wait to get the group back together…” However, moving Love’s contract for a rookie contract would allow LeBron James to wear the hat of GM and recruit buddies Chris Paul and Dwayne Wade, who are both free agents next summer.

“I’m ecstatic”, he said. That means they will be there when the Cavs get their rings and when the city of Cleveland gets to see their team back in action as the champs. Lastly, let’s get J.R. (Smith) done.

James, 31, is a native of Akron and has made five straight finals appearances, winning three. Averaging 10 points, 8 rebounds, and almost 2 block shots per game, the youngster still has plenty to learn and a trade to a quality team could speed up that learning curve. With the Cavaliers facing elimination, down 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors, James took over the series with back-to-back 41-point performances and capping the series off with a triple-double in Game 7.
