Exhibitor Relations dropped the news on Twitter, revealing that the third film would be titled, Bad Boys For Life. Also, after being originally dated for February 17, 2017, then delayed to June 2, 2017, the threequel has shifted dates yet again to the relatively quiet January 12, 2018 where it will be opening against Fox’s Maze Runner: The Death Cure and Paramount’s Sherlock Gnomes. Regardless that both Bad Boys installments received mediocre reviews, the love from their devoted fanbase has never let up. “We die together. Bad boys for life.” and though it sounds a bit final, a Bad Boys 4 is still expected to go ahead. It’s definitely a shame, but bear in mind that there was eight years between the release of the first and second instalment, while we’ll have been waiting fifteen years for the third by the time it reaches cinemas. The 1995 and 2003 versions grossed million and 3 million respectively at the box office.

If you thought waiting 13 years for Finding Dory was bad, you’re probably cursing the film’s announced delay.

Hollywood super producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was behind the first two outings of the franchise, is back for ‘Bad Boys for Life.’ A fourth film in the series is slated for release summer 2019.
