If you think you are having a bad day, try to put yourself in Doug Dallmer’s shoes.
A Texas man couldn’t believe his eyes after he opened his garage and was greeted by a 9-foot long gator.
Naturally, Doug didn’t feel too much excitement when he found his new friend camping out and quickly made a call to the police.
“I took two steps in and his head was literally right there”, Dallmer told KSAT.
“I’m glad all the dogs were inside because he might have had a snack”, Dallmer said.
“It was a little nerve-wracking”, Dallmer said.
Wranglers and police tried to lasso a rope around the alligators head as it hissed and opened its mouth to defend itself.
Luckily, this story does have a happy ending.

Police in Fulshear say nobody was hurt in Thursday night’s incident and the animal was being transported to an alligator refuge. There, it will live out its life in alligator paradise.
