“Just dropped: President Obama’s 2016 Summer Playlist”, the White House wrote.

Acclaimed singer and songwriter Sarah Bareilles was also included on the playlist, with her 2007 tune “Many the Miles” sliding into the fifth spot on Obama’s songs for the daytime division. President Obama was also seen guesting several TV shows like the Jimmy Kimmel Live where he read hilarious mean tweets about him.

This isn’t the first time President Obama has shared his music tastes with the world.

The White House starts to receive mail.

“Getting a word in with the President has always been one of the White House’s most popular citizen services”, White House chief digital officer Jason Goldman wrote in a blog post.

Solid choices, Mr. President! “And numerous featured artists – including Common, Janelle Monáe, and Gary Clark Jr. – have performed at the White House”. Green Aphrodisiac by Corinne Bailey Rae, Lover Man by Billie Holiday, Trapped By A Thing Called Love by Denise LaSalle – these are all attractive jams for the warmer evenings. We’ll try not to read too much into that. Veloso’s live performance of the song “Cucurrucucú Paloma”, from his 2003 Nonesuch release The Best of Caetano Veloso, can be heard on the Nighttime side of the President’s new playlist on Spotify.
