Mel Gibson’s Ex-Wife Oksana Grigorieva Loses $14 Million in Divorce Settlement
In case you forgot, Miz Grigorieva received a $750,000 settlement over allegations that Gibson had abused her – but had only received an initial sum of $250,000. It is safe to say that those tapes were the beginning of the end for Gibson’s career.

After the couple split in April 2010, following a bitter legal battle Gibson agreed to pay the Russian pianist $20,000 (£13,820) per month in child support.
The former couple share custody of their six-year-old daughter Lucia but the 46-year-old singer/songwriter is no longer owed the remaining $500,000 from the money she was originally entitled to, because she broke the terms of their agreement in 2013 by speaking out about the “Mad Max” actor’s alleged domestic abuse on “The Howard Stern” show, according to TMZ. On May 21, 2013, she thanked the radio host for his support. “You now what? [Y] ou have to embrace your experience and even – it doesn’t matter how painful it might be at the time, and that darker experience, learn from it, hopefully”, she replied.
Oksana Grigorieva can say goodbye to her remaining settlement from Mel Gibson.
Gibson, who had only paid $US250,000 of the settlement so far, took Grigorieva to court after the interview aired and argued that his ex had breached their agreement.
“While it is true that the confidentiality clause did not require [Grigorieva] to police what other people might say about her past relationship with [Gibson], it expressly restricted her capacity to make statements “related to” her domestic violence claims against him”, states the appellate court’s opinion.

Back in 2010, Grigorieva first accused Gibson of punching her in the face on different occasions and filed a restraining order against the actor.
