You can now pick up the fantastic soundtrack to Stranger Things
“It’s very much an homage to ’80s movies, whether it’s classic Stephen King or even Spielberg”. Stranger Things is an excellent homage to sci-fi/horror films of the 80’s, mixing a fresh story with the right amount of nostalgia to create a odd new thing that will linger on in the minds of its viewers.

While so many films and TV shows have tried to capture nostalgia in a bottle, “Stranger Things” does so in an entertaining way by using the memories of your childhood to craft its story, rather than making nostalgia the story itself.
For those looking to keep count, the full list of movie references reads as follows: The Goonies, Alien, E.T the Extra-Terrestrial, Firestarter, Poltergeist, Close encounters of the third kind, A nightmare on Elm Street, Explorers, The Shining, Stand by me, Carrie and Commando.
“Chemistry is always a challenging thing with a movie like “It” because you’re casting kids who don’t have a ton of experience, but it ended up being really natural”, he explained. “I was listening to The Cure’s “Pictures of You” because I have these old mixtapes that I don’t know what to do with-I’m like, ‘How do I transfer them?’ I still have a tape deck”. We’ve spent a few months getting the kids to bond, and now they’re going to fight this evil, scary clown. “His build is really interesting”.
Also starring Bill Skårsgard as Pennywise and Jaeden Lieberher, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs and Jeremy Ray Taylor as members of the Loser Club, “It” will be split into two parts.
Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Seth Grahame-Smith, David Katzenberg, and Barbara Muschietti are producing.

However, as “It” also picks up with the kids thirty years later as adults, it boasts a considerably more expansive narrative.
