Rams play homecoming game in preseason opener with Cowboys

The Rams will host the Cowboys at the Coliseum on Saturday, and ticket sales have been so strong that the team has chose to open up additional seats to accommodate as many fans as possible.

They’re not Caitlyn Jenner or even the Kardashians, but the Los Angeles Rams have gotten Hollywood’s attention as the team kicks off its first National Football League season since leaving the city in 1994. “It doesn’t mean much to me”, Goff said. “We do anticipate support for them, but there has been a presence for the Cowboys here for a long, long time”. A lot of the guys who haven’t practiced will practice for at least three or so days and oftentimes more than that before we put them out there.

“It will certainly be an interesting atmosphere. It will be exciting to be a part of this thing, a real privilege to be a part of it”.

“Got a lot of grief from my friends and stuff, but I thought it was amusing”, Goff said. That’s insane. I know the fans are going to come out. “We’re not just going to put them out there in a game situation”.

Despite all the hoopla, Garrett will approach the game no differently than any other preseason opener.

Luckily, this is only the preseason and Elliott’s injury does not appear to be serious, so he should be ready to show off why he was a top five pick when the Cowboys officially kickoff the 2016-17 campaign on Sunday, Sept. 11 against the division rival New York Giants.

Prescott, a rookie, and Showers, in his second year, will get a chance to win the backup job and keep the Cowboys from making a move for a veteran after Kellen Moore broke his leg early in training camp.

The NFL rejected the Dallas Cowboys petition to wear the Arm in Arm helmet decals in the preseason.
