Jeffrey Hazelwood, 20, allegedly shot Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis, both 17, Monday morning behind a Publix store.

Frommer said information received in the investigation led detectives to the house, where they were searching for evidence in the killings. Grant said that as of right now, the police believe that he acted alone.

“It’s not totally unusual to see people back there, but certainly that time of night, in a commercial area, it would be a little unusual”, said Roswell Police Detective Zachary Frommer. He was then arrested, charged and booked into the Roswell Detention Center. The man’s arrest came circa 5am Wednesday morning after police conducted a search warrant at Hazelwood’s home. Both teens found during the early morning hours of August 1 behind Publix at 885 Roswell Road.

Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis were both found with fatal gunshot wounds to the head behind a Publix supermarket just before 6 a.m., the Associated Press reports.

Rising senior Henderson was an honor-roll student at Roswell High School and a member of the award-winning Color Guard. They are now looking at surveillance video from businesses in the area in hopes of finding clues.

Police weren’t reporting a motive for the shooting. The medical examiner’s findings now confirm that both died from a gunshot. According to WSB, the teens were found lying next to their cars, and police believe they were killed behind the store.

Who killed Natalie Henderson and Carter Davis? “Grief counselors are available on campus to assist students”.
