Injuries and Consistency Main Talking Points Ahead of Gunners Clash

Liverpool head to the Emirates with Arsene Wenger having signalled them as being one of the teams that can win the league and after signing seven new players this summer, Klopp has the squad he wants.

After Arsenal, Liverpool then face newly-promoted Burnley and after that in the EFL Cup second two they come up against Burton Albion before finally travelling back to London to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Klopp’s arrival last season was seen as a turning point for the club and now fans’ expectations will be high that he can finally guide their beloved Liverpool back to the top of the table and Premier League glory.

“If you’re involved in the ideal game and it looks like you can perform in the next game, it’s a better position for the player who’s involved that’s for sure”. Thanks to Arsene Wenger’s kindness to his players, allowing them more time off after their global exploitation concluded than Klopp did, their squad is decimated.

“Big expectations from all sides, but now we have to show we are ready to show our best”. If they defend deep, we can not change it – we can not say, “come on, it’s boring, give us a little bit of space to play”. We’re not looking for excuses. He knows. The first two or three weeks, he scored in the games, but it was really too intense for him.

“We will all have problems and it’s about finding the solutions. We only think about our play and our game”. “We want to try everything”. “It’s massive, he’s got to play a lot of games”. Arsenal, on the other hand, are facing Liverpool at perhaps the worst possible time thanks to injuries and the after effects of a long European Championships.

“That’s all we have to do but it’s pretty unlikely we’ll start games with four or five strikers in one game”.

Jurgen Klopp is hoping to inspire Liverpool to Premier League heights that will be remembered many decades into the future. “There is nothing positive about not being in Europe apart from extra time we can use to train”. “Sturridge could be involved in team training today but he has missed a lot of sessions”, stated the Reds boss.
