New Poll Shows Clinton With 11-Point Lead Over Trump In Pa.
Hillary Clinton holds commanding leads over Donald Trump in a trio of states that the GOP nominee has made central to his White House bid, according to polls released Thursday following both party’s national conventions last month, and has maintained an advantage in the perennial swing state of Florida.

If the election were just Clinton and Trump, 51 percent said they would vote for the Democratic nominee. Libertarian Gary Johnson has 8 percent and Green Party nominee Jill Stein has 3 percent.
With the political party conventions wrapped up and the general election season well underway, the presidential tickets are focusing on a few key swing states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Florida, Virginia and now MI. A WBUR’s new poll shows Clinton winning by a wide margin of 15 points (47 percent to 32 percent). However, 60 percent of New Hampshire voters still hold negative views on Trump, versus 29 percent who view him favorably.
This is the first F&M poll since Clinton and Trump won their parties’ respective nominations. The poll found Clinton with a 49% to 38% edge among likely voters that expanded to a 48% to 35% edge among registered voters.
Sixty-seven percent say Clinton has the experience to be president but 64 percent still believe that she is not honest and trustworthy.
According to the survey, Clinton is ahead of Trump by ten points, having 49 percent support against Trump’s 39 percent.
Donald Trump trailed Hillary Clinton on every issue area brought up in the poll, excerpt for three: The economy, the deficit, and national security.
The poll shows Republicans are divided by their party’s candidate. Clinton is continuing to pound Trump on his controversial remarks regarding the parents of a fallen soldier and wanting a Purple Heart. In the latest poll, 28 percent of voters give him a thumbs up, compared to 61 percent who view him negatively (-33).
The McClatchy-Marist poll was conducted via telephone among 983 registered voters voters from August 1-3.
Last week, the same poll had Trump and Clinton tied at 42 percent. In Michigan, Clinton is ahead by nine points, with 41 percent of the vote.

The Senate race also shows a Democratic lead, with New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan leading by 10 points in her race against incumbent Republican Sen. Clinton’s advantage is outside the poll’s margin of error.
