Calling Obama ISIS founder was sarcasm
Two days after Donald Trump said that President Barack Obama had founded Islamic State, and a day after he insisted that he meant what he said, the Republican presidential nominee reversed himself on Friday and claimed the statement was nothing more than sarcasm.

Taken in a sarcastic light, Trump’s words would be amount to a mockery of… Iraqi leaders, however, refused to give US troops immunity from prosecution in Iraqi courts, and the USA refused to stay without it. Al-Maliki told US military officials that he did not have the votes in parliament to provide immunity to the American trainers.
In a tweet, Trump wrote: “Ratings challenged @CNN reports so seriously that I call President Obama (and Clinton) “the founder” of ISIS, & MVP”.
At a rally Wednesday, Trump said that Obama “is the founder of ISIS”, using one acronym for the group. “Her only competition is Barack Obama”.
“ISIS is honouring President Obama”.
Oh, and while Trump continues to say that Obama and Clinton should win ISIS’ “most valuable player award”, there is no such thing. Or just a carnival barker anxious that his shtick is starting to fail him who knows that it’s the only shtick he’s got? The member of Congress added, “What happens when he presses the nuclear button, and then the next day says, ‘Oh, I’m sorry, I was just being sarcastic?'”.
“Is there something wrong with saying that?” Trump said. “Look, all I do is tell the truth”. I told the truth.

Kristol continued, “You don’t”.
Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt tried gamely to help Trump clean up the mess. “I know what you meant, you meant that he created the vacuum, he lost the peace”.
“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS. I do. That’s what I would say”. “He’s the most valuable player”.
For years we have managed to keep this quiet, but I now take it upon myself to give Americans a full and honest and in-no-way-made-up-out-of-whole-cloth accounting of Islamic State’s USA -based leadership structure.
Well, what have we been talking about for the past few days? “What they want to do is try to fake it through”. “I would’ve honored it”, Trump said. “He’s the founder! He founded ISIS”.
He is also facing heightened scrutiny as the United States presidential campaign comes to its end, forcing his loyal allies to publicly support his controversial comments regardless of meaning or intention. These agencies deliver water to approximately 1.2 million acres of farmland, 2 million California residents, and millions of waterfowl dependent upon the almost 200,000 acres of managed wetlandswithin the Pacific Flyway.
Then in an interview with Business Insider, she quoted Hayden’s claim that Trump was a recruiting sergeant for ISIS. “He’s the founder of ISIS”, he told the Miami NBC affiliate Thursday night when asked what he meant by the comment. “Is China hoping – can you imagine China?” They’re tough. They’re tough. “You gotta him them back with a lot of energy”.

Republican leaders have repeatedly stated that the foreign policies of President Obama and his former secretary of state Clinton were to blame for helping to create the conditions that allowed the IS group to grow in Iraq and Syria.
