The two candidates are running almost even among men, at 43% for Mrs Clinton and 4% for Mr Trump.
Corrections and clarifications: An earlier version of the following story misstated Donald Trump’s poll number in July in the McClatchy-Marist poll.
Mrs Clinton gets the support of 47% of registered USA voters, while Mr Trump see 38% support.
“Now I think journalists have a special responsibility to our democracy in a time like this”, the Democratic presidential nominee said Friday during remarks at the National Association for Black and Hispanic Journalists convention in Washington, D.C.
“Anyone you can provoke with a tweet should not be anywhere near nuclear weapons”, said Clinton, who according to a latest poll is leading Trump by 15 percentage points. Clinton’s explicit appeal to traditional Republican voters may take support away from Johnson the Libertarian, but it might also hurt her as she tries to solidify her support among former Sanders supporters.
Here’s a look at how Trump has done against Hillary Clinton among youth voters.
The key reason: “This is a race about who you can trust”, said Charles Franklin, the director of the Marquette University Law School Poll, which surveys Wisconsin voters.
An NBC/Wall Street Journal national survey found Trump trailing Clinton by 9 points (up from 5 points last month).
Hillary Clinton on Friday doubled down on recent misleading statements about her use of a private email server at the State Department, even as she acknowledged that she “may have short-circuited” her answers about it. Grayson is the closest opponent to Murphy with the other three candidates in low single digits, according to the poll, with 40 percent still undecided. However, if Trump can shift even one third or one half of Johnson’s supporters, states like Georgia are looking a lot better for him. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1 percentage points. Fox News, McClatchy-Marist and CBS News all tracked stronger support from Democrats for Clinton than from Republicans for Trump. She had a 9-point advantage among independents, but her support from Democrats had gone up to 96 percent.
Clinton received the support of 90 percent of self-described Democratic voters, while Trump was backed by 79 percent of Republicans in the McClatchy/Marist poll.
Clinton has emerged one of the least accessible candidates to run for president this year, rarely taking question from her traveling press corps. However, polls from GenForward show that they aren’t all welcoming her with open arms. Hillary Clinton enjoyed an increase in positive ratings, moving from 34 percent to 37 percent positive after the Democratic convention.

Trump came under significant fire for the comments-most notably from his fellow Republicans. Only 19 percent of voters have a favorable opinion of Trump.
